Porter Wagoner recently had a meeting with his friend, Moe Lytle, of Gusto Records. Over the years, Porter and Moe worked together on a number of musical projects. During their visit, Porter suddenly began to relay a dream he had while sleeping one night. Moe could tell from the expression on Porter's face that Porter was deeply moved by the dream. Moe was equally impressed by the vivid detail in Porter's dream as the story unfolded. When Porter concluded, Porter described the dream as a gift from God that he would never forget. He also said he thanked God for the dream after waking that night. Moe suggested that Porter go home and write down his dream as a song or recitation.
